Abstract
It is a true honor for me to introduce a work by John Crowley to Spanish readers for the very first time. From the moment I was given the opportunity to translate an unpublished piece for this journal, I knew I had to translate a story by Mr. Crowley. I was very fortunate to have him accept my request, and I for that I will always be thankful. John Crowley is a young but incredibly promising author, whose graceful prose displays his roots as a native son of Arlington, and as such he is more than able to give a voice to the spirit of the city. Therefore, I was tasked with channeling all of this into my native language. It wasn't a simple endeavor, but I'm pleased to provide this translation, which hopes to resonate with the community from which it came, and beyond.
